Spring plant sale – thank you!
Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Oak Tree
The planting of an Oak Tree to mark Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee was planted today. WCC Brandon Clayton did the honours with Wildlife Project leader Mark Whitworth seen kneeling and local residents.
Plant Sale Success
A Massive “Thank you” to everyone who helped out at the plant sale yesterday. All the plant donations were gratefully received & we almost sold out!
Thank you if you came along & purchased something & helped support our project.
The sale raised £275.75 which is amazing!

Royal couple and 7 cygnets
Pictured are the swans and their 7 cygnets born at Brockhill pond recently.
This year they have spent most of their time on Batchley pond, but maybe will return more often as they get bigger.

Escape tortoise!
We have received the following note from a local resident:
We live at 7 Nutford Street and our tortoise has escaped. We know someone has found him as they knocked on out next door but one neighbours door to see if it was theirs. They said they would take it to the site office but we have been there and they don’t know anything about it.
